Import Customers

Import customers from an Excel file, TSV file, or QuickBooks to create customer records in ProContractor. A customer is required in order to create accounts receivable entries in the Customers module. The customer record contains all customer-related details, including address and contact information, invoice defaults, and tax exempt status. Importing customers allows you to create multiple customer records at one time.

  1. Optional: Set up defaults for customer entry or import.
  2. On the Import Setup Data screen, import customer records from an Excel file, a TSV file, or from QuickBooks.
  3. Optional: Modify each customer record to add information that was not imported.
