Create a Contract Invoice

Create a contract invoice to bill a customer for completed project work.

Tip: You can also create a contract invoice and route it for approval. See Adjust a Contract Invoice and Route It for Approval for details.
  1. Enter the details of the contact invoice and assign it to a posting group.
  2. Create the PDF file for the invoice, and save the invoice as a draft.
  3. Review the contract invoices in the posting group.
  4. Modify the details of the contract invoice if needed.
  5. Create the PDF file for the invoice; view, print, or email the invoice; and save the invoice as ready to post.
  6. Post the contract invoices in the posting group.
Once you post a contract invoice, you can no longer modify it. If you need to make any changes after posting, use the Adjust Contract Invoices screen.
