Edit catalog cost item information

You can edit all the information for each cost item, including the Reference and Description.

Although you can edit catalog item information directly from the catalog view, it is recommended that you follow this procedure to ensure that you don't inadvertently erase information on the item.
  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From the Catalog tab, click to select the catalog that contains the cost item you want to edit from the Catalog field.
  3. Select the folder that contains the cost item you want to edit.
  4. Select the item you want to edit.
  5. Click Edit on the speedbar or right-click on the cell and select Edit.
  6. Edit the appropriate information for the catalog item.
  7. When you finish editing the information, click OK.
