Use the markup calculator

  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From either the Estimate tab or the Catalog tab, do one of the following:
    • Add a new cost item. See Basic Cost Items for details.

    • Select an existing cost item and click Edit on the speedbar.

      Note: You can also access the markup calculator from a visual assembly or a cost item in a list assembly.
  3. In the Cost Item window, click next to the Mark Up % field.
  4. Fill in the fields as described on the Markup Calculator Screen Field Reference.
  5. Click OK.
  6. The Mark Up % field is now inactive. You can edit the field using the markup calculator.
