Enter a new item in the NotePad

  1. Open a job in the Manage Estimates screen.
  2. From the NotePad tab, click in a row to start entering data. All fields are optional.
  3. In the Reference field, enter a reference for the item.
  4. In the Description field, enter a detailed description for the item.
  5. In the Quantity field, enter the appropriate quantity for the item. You can also use the Working Total or you can digitize the quantity directly using the Express Takeoff.
  6. In the Units field, select the appropriate unit for the quantity you entered.
  7. In the Height field, enter the appropriate height for the item if applicable.
  8. In the Comment field, enter an appropriate note to include with the item. If you need to enter a long comment, click Comment on the speedbar.
  9. In the Sheet field, enter the name of the sheet where the item is located.
