Send Items from the Notepad

You can send items you have entered in the NotePad tab to the estimate. Since NotePad items only have a Description, Quantity, Unit, and Comment fields, this is the only information that will be copied to the estimate. If you want these items to have additional information in the estimate, you will need to go to the Estimate Tab Overview and manually enter the appropriate information. All items you send to the estimate are automatically assigned the Other1 cost item type. You can change the type of the cost item in the Estimate tab.

To open a job in the Manage Estimates screen, click Estimating > Estimating > Manage Estimates in the All Tasks pane. Then select the job you want to open, and click OK.
