Download ProContractor Install Files

The installation files are available on the Viewpoint Customer Portal.

Note: Upgrades to ProContractor in a ProContractor Cloud (PCC) network occur automatically at a scheduled date and time, so there is no need to download installation files for an upgrade. We send notifications at least one week prior to scheduled upgrades to your system.

Determine which files to download:

Determine which installation file you should download based on whether your dedicated server-based network has the full version of Microsoft SQL installed or the SQL Express version installed.

  • SQL Express version of the install file
  • Workstation install file
  • Service pack install file, if applicable
  • ProContractor Publisher, if using ProContractor Mobile
Microsoft SQL Server installed (with Reporting Services)
Important: The person who installs and manages the server database must have the appropriate levels of experience with and/or knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server.
  • SQL Server version of the install file
  • Workstation install file
  • Service pack install file, if applicable
  • ProContractor Publisher, if using ProContractor Mobile

Download the installation files:

  1. Go to the Viewpoint Customer Portal at https://support.viewpoint.com/s/.
  2. Log in using your Viewpoint Customer Portal username and password.
  3. From the Home page, select Products > ProContractor.
  4. Under Downloads, select the link for the applicable ProContractor™ version. If you are downloading the ProContractor Mobile Publisher, select the link for the latest version of the publisher.
    A new browser tab opens showing the file(s) associated with the selected version.
  5. Select the appropriate installation (.EXE) file, click Download, and save the file to a known location that you can navigate to later when you are ready to run the installation.
    Important: You must first save the installation file. Do not attempt to run the installation file from the folder location.
