User Groups screen

User groups make it easier to control access to the various functional areas at a group level, reducing the system administration workload.

Use this screen to add, modify, and delete user groups. Even systems with just a few users can benefit from defining user groups.

Typically, access to a functional area is based on the license type, but you can override these settings as needed.

All user groups are available throughout the application. They are not tied to any single company.

Note: To open the Managing User Groups screen, click Administration > Security > User Groups in the All Tasks pane.
