Validate DFRs for Payroll Import Report

Use the Validate DFRs for Payroll Import screen to create a report of daily field reports that contain errors on the Employee Time tab (for example, missing cost code or a start time with no end time).

Use the Validate DFRs for Payroll Import screen to create a report of daily field reports that contain errors on the Employee Time tab (for example, missing cost code or a start time with no end time). The report lists only the daily field reports that have not yet been imported to ProContractor; therefore, you can use the report to find and correct invalid fields in the daily field reports before you import them into payroll. You can print or save this report.

The Validate DFRs for Payroll Import Report lists the project, document number, document date, employee time line number, and employee in separate fields. All errors within the time line are listed in a single text field. If the employee time line contains a note, the report displays the note text as well.

You can control the output of the Validate DFRs for Payroll Import by entering details in one or more of the following fields on the Options tab:

  • Select Format - If you have modified the format and layout of this report on the Modify Reports screen, click to select the version to use for this report. If you haven't modified the report, this field doesn't appear
  • Report From Date - Enter the start date for the report, click to select the date from a Date Picker, or click to enter a Date Formulas. If you want to save the information in the date field when you save the report options, you must use a date formula. This is typically the first day of the payroll cycle. This field is required.
  • Report Through Date - Enter the end date for the report, click to select the date from a Date Picker, or click to enter a Date Formulas. If you want to save the information in the date field when you save the report options, you must use a date formula. This is typically the last day of the payroll cycle. This field is required.

Company - Click to select one or more companies for the report. If no companies are selected, all companies appear in the report.

  • Division - Click to select one or more divisions for the report. If no divisions are selected, all divisions appear in the report.
  • Project - Click to select one or more projects for the report. If no projects are selected, all projects appear in the report.
  • Project Manager - Click to select one or more project managers for the report. If no project managers are selected, all project managers appear in the report
    Tip: You can use the Modify Reports screen to customize the format and layout of this report.
