Fringe and Deduction Reporting Categories screen

Use the Fringe and Deduction Reporting Categories screen to define report categories for deductions, fringes, and additional pays.

To open the Fringe and Deduction Reporting Categories screen, click Employees > Setup > Deductions & Fringes > Fringe and Deduction Reporting Categories in the All Tasks pane.

ProContractor has the following report category types:
  • Insurance
  • Union
  • Deduction and Fringe
  • Certified Payroll

You can assign each deduction, fringe benefit, and additional pay to one of each type of report category. When you select a report category on a report, ProContractor displays the sum of all deductions, fringes, and additional pays assigned to that category.

Note: The Fringe and Deduction Reporting Categories screen is a step in the employee setup process. The Deductions screen is the next step.
