Pay Status Change Reason screen

Use the Pay Status Change Reason screen to create and maintain reasons for employee pay status changes.

You might create the following pay status change reasons:

  • New Hire

  • Rehire

  • Terminated With Cause

  • Terminated Without Cause

  • Quit

  • Training

  • Funeral

  • Jury Duty

To open the Pay Status Change Reason screen, click Employees > Setup > General > Pay Status Change Reason in the All Tasks pane.

You can set the pay status change reasons to control the active/inactive employee status. Typically, you will associate a pay status change reason with an employee on the Employee screen, but you can do this when you create manual time cards on the Enter Time Card by Employee screen.

All pay status change reasons are available throughout ProContractor. They are not tied to any single company.
