Inventory Item Transactions screen

Use the Inventory Item Transactions screen to create a report of inventory item transactions by item. The report is sorted by company, item, and warehouse. You can print or save this report.

This report shows the profit center company for inventory usage and inventory usage returns as part of the code for the profit center. For Purchase Order Receipts and Receipts done through Enter Vendor Invoice the company needs to print on the report.

Note: To open the Inventory Item Transactions screen, click Materials > Reports > Inventory Item Transactions in the All Tasks pane.

You can control the output of the Inventory Item Transactions report by entering details in one or more of the following fields on the Options tab:

  • Select Format - If you have modified the format and layout of this report on the Modify Reports screen, click to select the version to use for this report. If you haven't modified the report, this field doesn't appear.

Report From Date - Enter the start date for the report, click to select the date from a Date Picker, or click to enter a Date Formulas. If you want to save the information in the date field when you save the report options, you must use a date formula. This field is required.

Report Through Date - Enter the end date for the report, click to select the date from a Date Picker, or click to enter a Date Formulas. If you want to save the information in the date field when you save the report options, you must use a date formula. This field is required.

Company - Click to select one or more companies for the report. If no companies are selected, all companies appear in the report.

Item - Click to select one or more items for the report. If no items are selected, all items appear in the report.

  • Item Status - Click to select the item status for the report. Select Both to show both active and inactive items in the report.

  • Item Category - Click to select one or more item categories for the report. If no item categories are selected, all item categories appear in the report.

Warehouse - Click to select one or more warehouses for the report. If no warehouses are selected, all warehouses appear in the report.

  • Transaction Type - Click to select the transaction type for the report. Select All to show all transaction types in the report.

  • Distribution Company - Click to select one or more distribution companies for the report. If no distribution companies are selected, all distribution companies appear in the report.

Profit Center - Click to select one or more profit centers for the report. If no profit centers are selected, all profit centers appear in the report.

Tip: You can use the Modify Reports screen to customize the format and layout of this report.
