Project Profitability screen

Use the Project Profitability screen to create a report of project profitability, as calculated from the difference between posted revenue and posted costs. This report displays the Intercompany Setup screen for transactions. You can print or save this report.

Note: To open the Project Profitability screen, go to Projects > Reports > Project Profitability.
You can control the output of the Project Profitability report by entering details in one or more of the following fields on the Options tab:
  • Select Format - If you have modified the format and layout of this report on the Modify Reports screen, choose the version to use for this report. If you haven't modified the report, this field doesn't appear.
  • Report Through Date - Enter the end date for the report, select the date from a Date Picker, or select to enter a date formula. If you want to save the information in the date field when you save the report options, you must use a date formula. This field is required.
  • Company - Select one or more companies for the report. If no companies are selected, all companies appear in the report.
  • Division - Select one or more cost code divisions for the report. If no divisions are selected, all cost code divisions appear in the report.
  • Project - Select one or more projects for the report. If no projects are selected, all projects appear in the report.
  • Project Status - Select the project status for the report. Select Both to show both active and inactive projects in the report.
  • Owner Change Order - Select one or more owner change orders for the report. If no owner change orders are selected, all owner change orders appear in the report.
  • Owner CO Type - Select one or more owner change order types for the report. If no owner change order types are selected, all owner change order types appear in the report.
  • Owner CO Status - Select one or more owner change order statuses for the report. If no owner change order statuses are selected, all owner change order statuses appear in the report.
  • Print Billing Code Detail - Select the checkbox to include the billing code detail in the report. Deselect the checkbox to exclude billing code details from the report.
  • Print Cost Code Detail - Select the checkbox to include the cost code detail in the report. Deselect the checkbox to exclude cost code details from the report.
  • Report Change Orders by - Select Included with Project to show owner change orders as part of the base project amounts in the report. Select Printed Separately after the Base Project to show owner change orders after the base project amounts in the report. Select Only Print Change Orders to show only owner change orders without the base project amounts in the report.
  • Print CMR Detail for Owner Change Orders - Select the checkbox to include CMR details for owner change orders in the report. Deselect the checkbox to exclude CMR details for owner change orders from the report.
  • Transactions To Include - Select Posted to show only posted transactions in the report. Select Posted and Pending to show both posted and pending transactions in the report. Select Posted, Pending and Committed to show all transactions in the report.
  • Include Pending COs in Contract Amount - Select the checkbox to include amounts from pending change orders in the calculated contract value. This affects the Total Contract amount. Deselect the checkbox to include only amounts from approved change orders in the report.
