Change Request Entry - Dates

Use this tab to specify Notice to proceed, Quotation, and Approval dates. Changes on this tab will be saved when the change request is saved.

Description

Notice to proceed

Submitted date

Enter the date you submitted the "notice to proceed" to the design team, or press Enter to accept the system default. This date displays on the Change Request Proposal (with or without cost detail).

Received date

Enter the date that you received the "notice to proceed" from the design team, or press Enter to accept the system default. This date displays on the Change Request Proposal (with or without cost detail).

Rough estimate

Enter the estimated amount of revenue that will be billed to the customer if you proceed with this change request. This amount displays on the Change Request Proposal (with or without cost detail).

Quotation

Submitted date

Enter the date that you submitted the quote to the design team, or press Enter to accept the system default. This date displays on the Change Request Proposal form (with or without cost detail).

Due date

Enter the quote's due date, or press Enter to accept the system default. This is the last date that the quote will be valid. This information displays on the Change Request Proposal form (with or without cost detail). The days past due will continue to calculate even after the change request is Approved or Executed.

Submitted amount

The quote's total amount that was submitted to the design team displays in this field. This number is the revenue amount entered in the Change Request Revenue Detail window. This amount displays on the Change Request Proposal form.

Requested days

Enter the requested number of days that this change will delay the project. This information displays on the Change Request Proposal forms and the Change Request Pricing Detail Report.

Approval

Approved date

Enter the date that the design team approved this change request, or press Enter to accept the system default. This is the date that the type 1 or 2 change requests will display on the Contract Status Report, Change Request Pricing Detail, and Draw Request.

The date in this field can be changed only if the change request's action type is one of the following:

1 (Recognize revenue and cost revisions, billing allowed)

2 (Recognize revenue and cost revisions, billing not allowed)

The date in this field can be removed only if the change request's action type is changed from one of the following types:

1 (Recognize revenue and cost revisions, billing allowed)

2 (Recognize revenue and cost revisions, billing not allowed)

to one of the following types:

3 (Recognize cost revisions, no billing)

4 (No recognition of revenue or cost, no billing)

5 (Reverse revenue and cost recognition)

Note: This field is unavailable if the change request action type is set to type 3, 4, or 5.

Approved amount

The total amount of the change that was submitted to the design team displays in this field.

Note: This field is unavailable if the change request action type is set to type 3, 4, or 5.

Approved days

Enter the extension (in number of days) the design team approved as a result of this change. This information displays on the change order and the Change Request Pricing Detail Report.
