Finance Charge Entry - Field Descriptions

Use this procedure to enter finance charges. If mistakes
      are discovered while reviewing the Finance
         Charge Edit List but before updating the batch with Update Finance Charger Transactions,
      corrections may be made using this screen.

Enter a Finance Charge

This window is used to automatically calculate finance charges for all customers who have overdue balances, and who have a finance charges percentage greater than zero entered in the customer file.

Build Finance Charge Transactions

This update transfers finance charges that have been calculated using the Build Finance Charge Transactions window and/or Finance Charge Entry screen. These charges are transferred to the cash receipts transaction file. when the cash receipt journal and update is run these changes are passed to the customer and general ledger files.

The Data Entry menu is used to print and process draw requests. Both the subcontract and general AIA formats are available. After printing draw request forms, the information may be automatically transferred by the software to the invoice entry screen for update to the customer and job files. It is also used to process change orders, and to generate invoices and credit memos. Other related activities, such as cash receipts and finance charge processing, are also performed from this menu.

            <p class="p">Switch from Help for one product to Help for another product directly from the Viewpoint Help website, without having to access separate links. On any Help article page, use the <span class="ph uicontrol">Explore Product Help</span> drop-down to choose Help for a different product, or select filtering options that are available after you perform a search.</p>
            <p class="p">For versioned products only (for example, <span class="keyword">Vista</span>), select the version drop-down field in the <span class="ph uicontrol">Contents</span> heading to access different versions of Help.</p>
