Use the Finance Charge Entry screen to add, change, or delete finance charges before updating customer balances. If mistakes are discovered while reviewing the Finance Charge Edit List but before updating the batch, corrections may be made using this screen.

Finance Charge Entry

If the cost center feature is enabled in the Enterprise Installation screen, Spectrum will verify that the operator initiating the finance charge update has authorization for the cost center included in the finance charge file to each overdue balance. Spectrum compares the cost center assigned to each finance charge record with cost centers in the operator’s assigned scheme; if the cost center is not included, then the update will not be performed on that charge.
