        <p class="p">Access <span class="keyword">Automatic Invoicing</span> from <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span> by logging into <a class="xref j-external-link" href="http://team.viewpoint.com" target="_blank">team.viewpoint.com</a>, and then selecting <span class="ph uicontrol">Accounts Payable</span> from the main
            menu.</p>
        <p class="p">Use Automatic Invoicing to enter validated vendor invoices. There are
            three steps in the process:</p>

                    vendor is used in subsequent invoices, <span class="keyword">Automatic Invoicing</span> will recognize the vendor and automatically

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

Automatic Invoicing (for Trimble Construction One Users)

If your company uses Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you can edit a VFP document (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx) in Microsoft Office for the web. You won’t be able to open the document in Microsoft Office if it's an older version of office or if the document has custom mandatory fields with no values.

<body id="concept-8694"><main role="main"><article role="article" aria-labelledby="ariaid-title1"><h1 class="title topictitle1" id="ariaid-title1">Edit a Document Live in VFP</h1><div class="body conbody"><p class="shortdesc">If you use Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you can edit a VFP document (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx) live in Microsoft Office for the web, allowing easy collaboration whilst retaining the control and governance of your workflow, permissions and security in VFP.  </p><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Enable Microsoft Office for the Web</h2><p class="p">When you first open a Microsoft Office document in VFP, <span class="ph">a user agreement message appears. Review the agreement and accept to proceed. If you decline the agreement, you cannot use the feature and the message will reappear if you try to use this feature again.</span></p><p class="p">When the user agreement has been accepted, the option to open a Microsoft document will be available from the drop down menu.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Co-Authoring and Versions</h2><p class="p"><span class="ph">When you edit a document in Microsoft Office for the web, changes are saved automatically, and a new document revision is created once you close the editing session. More than one user can access the same document at the same time and make edits.</span> When each user closes the editing session, a new item revision will be added. <span class="ph">An audit is logged in the item's Activity Log for each user that opens the item. When each user closes the editing session after making a save, a new item revision will be added. </span></p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">File Types</h2><p class="p">If you upload an older file type to VFP (for example, .doc, .ppt, .xls), you  will not be able to edit them in Microsoft Office for the web. You won't see the option from the drop-down menu.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Permissions</h2><p class="p">Permissions for Microsoft Office for the web are no different than the existing permissions for the current Live Revise process.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Session Length</h2>
            
            <p class="p">The session length for Microsoft Office for the web is 60 minutes. After 50 minutes of inaction, you will receive a warning stating when your session will expire. Clicking <span class="ph uicontrol">Save and refresh</span> in the warning window will restart another 50 minutes. After 60 minutes of inaction, you will receive a warning that your session has ended. You will need to close the tab and restart the session.</p>

            <div class="p"><span class="keyword">ProContractor</span> 4.3.1 contains the necessary regulatory updates and is required for 2023 year-end processing in the United States and Canada.<ul class="ul"><li class="li">United States - Forms W-2, 1094-C and 1095-C, and 1099 are updated to 2023.             <p class="p">Like all prior year-end releases, this update does not affect the tax tables within <span class="keyword">ProContractor</span>. You must update the tax table manually for Federal and for each state which is relevant to your organization and the new information will take effect on the date you choose.</p>
            <p class="p">For your convenience, tax table information for each state is
                available at the <a class="xref j-external-link" href="https://support.viewpoint.com/s/knowledgedetail?c__urlname=170108064106574" target="_blank"><span class="keyword">Viewpoint Customer Portal</span></a>.</p>
            <p class="p"><span class="keyword">Viewpoint</span> updates this information for each state as each tax authority releases it. For the tax tables which are relevant to you, consider subscribing on the <span class="keyword">Viewpoint Customer Portal</span> so that you receive notifications when the information changes.</p>
        </section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Support for Multiple Local Taxes per employee</h2>
            
            <p class="p">In some cases, you may need to apply more than one local tax to an employee's wages. This release supports this requirement.</p>
            <div class="p">Your <span class="keyword">ProContractor</span> application has been modified in these ways:<ul class="ul"><li class="li">The Additional Tax Factors (Canada) grid has been moved from the Taxes tab to the <a class="xref" href="/procontractor/procontractor/screen-reference/screen-reference/employees/employees-module/setup-screens/employee-screen/employee-screen-field-reference#ID-00045448__ID-000474eclair">Others tab</a> of the <a class="xref" href="/procontractor/procontractor/screen-reference/screen-reference/employees/employees-module/setup-screens/employee-screen">Employee screen</a>.</li><li class="li">A new grid takes it place of the Local section (U.S.).</li></ul></div>
            <div class="p">As part of the update, any field values you currently have in the Local section (U.S) will be automatically placed in their respective columns in the new grid.             <p class="p">You can now set up your weekly overtime wages to be exempt from state taxes based on location by selecting the new <span class="ph uicontrol">Exempt State Income Tax Overtime Weekly</span> checkbox in the <a class="xref" href="/procontractor/procontractor/screen-reference/screen-reference/employees/employees-module/setup-screens/pay-classifications--rates-screens/work-locations-screen">Work Locations screen</a>.</p>
        </section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Support for new Adoption Allowances</h2>
            
            <p class="p">Starting with this release, you can enter the number of adoption allowances reported by residents of Indiana (U.S.), and <span class="keyword">ProContractor</span> will consider the value when calculating payroll. The new field is <span class="ph uicontrol">Adoption Allowances</span> in the Taxes tab of the <a class="xref" href="/procontractor/procontractor/screen-reference/screen-reference/employees/employees-module/setup-screens/employee-screen">Employee screen</a>.</p>
        </section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">New Tax Basis Option</h2>
            
            <p class="p">The <span class="ph uicontrol">Tax Basis</span> drop-down in the <a class="xref" href="/procontractor/procontractor/screen-reference/screen-reference/employees/employees-module/setup-screens/taxes--insurance-screens/income-tax-table-screen">Income Tax Table screen</a>'s General tab has a new <span class="ph uicontrol">State Taxable Wages</span> option. If there is a Tax Table you want to base on the state income wages, select this option.</p>

            <p class="p">You can now filter the Payroll Hours and Earnings History report by work location. Select one or more locations to see the hours and earnings for just the selected location(s).</p>

                initial email invitation to join <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span>.
                After the System Administrator changes the user's email address in the <span class="keyword">Spectrum</span> Operator Maintenance screen,
                your Enterprise Admin can re-migrate the user's account. Previously, resolving this
                issue required assistance from Support. </p>

                    Administrator, <em class="ph i"><span class="ph b">do not</span></em> change the email address for a user whose
                    account has been migrated and who has accepted the invitation to <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span>. If you change the email address and
                    re-migrate the user's account after they accepted the invitation, you will break
                    the user's connection to <span class="keyword">Employee Self-Service</span> and their employee data, such as pay statements.
                        <p class="p">After a user has set up their <span class="keyword">Trimble ID</span>, <em class="ph i">only that user</em> can change their email
                        address. Direct your users to update their email address at <a class="xref j-external-link" href="https://myprofile.trimble.com/home" target="_blank">myprofile.trimble.com</a>.</p></div>
