The Trial Balance report tests for errors in Accounts Receivable data by checking the total balance for each customer against the sum total of open items. The report can be printed for all customers, or only for customers who have an error.

Accounts Receivable doesn't normally allow out-of-balance conditions for customers. However, out-of-balance errors are possible due to unusual circumstances such as power outages. This report will help you identify any out-of-balance conditions so that they may be corrected.
