Out of Balance window
If debits do not equal credits when you click OK on the Journal Entry screen, this window opens and displays the sum of all debit entries, the sum of all credit entries, and the balance yet to be accounted for.

The difference between debits and credits displays. This figure represents the additional debit or credit amount necessary to record before exiting the screen. A positive number displays when a 'credit' entry is required; a negative number displays when a 'debit' is needed. |
