If the cost center feature is enabled in the Enterprise Installation screen, Spectrum will add selected accounts to the new company only if you have permission to access the account in the current company. Spectrum compares the account's list of shared cost centers with cost centers in your assigned scheme, and if there are no common cost centers, then that G/L account is not copied during the update.

Copy Chart of Accounts - Cost Center Information

The Copy Chart of Accounts screen is used to copy the Chart of Accounts from one company into a new company. This selection may be useful when an additional company is being installed and its Chart of Accounts will be the same as the current company. If you have cost centers enabled in the current company, then Spectrum will add selected accounts to the new company only if you have permission to access the account in the current company.
