Payroll Payment Processing
The Payroll Payment Processing screen is used to guide you through preparing the Payroll cycle.
Options that are shaded are unavailable, and will be available once the necessary payment processing step preceding it has been completed.
Steps that have been completed for this payment cycle are indicated with a green checkmark. Text accompanies each step and changes, depending on the progress, and a Cycle Information inquiry window is available using the icon to the right of the Set Payroll Cycle button.
Set Payroll Cycle. Once set, the period-end date and check date will appear to the right of this button. Click the lookup icon to display the Cycle Information window. Use this window to review the current payroll cycle settings, including pay cycle dates and selections, pay frequencies, pay types, and cost center and cost group information, if applicable.
Transfer Pre-Time Cards to Pay Cycle (optional).
Review the Time Card Edit List.
Perform Check Calculation to update time card information onto employee checks.
Review the Calculation Edit Reports.
Perform Check Adjustment Entry to make any changes to taxes and deductions (optional).
Review the Pay Cycle Reports for accuracy.
Write Automatic Deposits directly into bank accounts.
