Modify an Existing Count Item

  1. Select the count item you want to modify in the Item Types area.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. In the Description field, modify the name for the count item, if needed.
  4. Select the Depth checkbox if the count item has an invert depth.
  5. Click Color to select a color to use in the symbol. The current color is displayed below the Color button.
  6. Click in a square in the grid to fill it with the selected color. Click and drag to fill in multiple squares. If needed, click on a square with color to remove the color.
  7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 until you are satisfied with the symbol.
  8. Click OK.
  9. If you selected the Depth checkbox, in the Invert field, enter the invert for the count item or click to increase or decrease the invert.
  10. Select Show this dialog for every new count item checkbox to display the Count Properties popup window each time you digitize a count item. Deselect the checkbox to digitize count items without displaying the Count Properties popup window.
    Tip: You can open the Count Properties popup window at any time by selecting an existing count item and clicking Prop on the speedbar or by double-clicking on an existing count item.
  11. Click OK.
