Copy a Line or Spot Elevation to Another Layer

  1. Open a job in the Manage Earthwork Estimates screen.
  2. Select the tab that contains the area or elevation you want to copy.
  3. In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click to select the layer that contains the elevation you want to copy.
  4. Click Select on the speedbar.
  5. Select the line or spot elevation you want to copy.
  6. Press Ctrl and [C].
    Note: You can also cut a line or elevation from one layer by pressing Ctrl and [X]. This removes the line or elevation from the layer so you can paste it into another layer.
  7. In the Active Layer field on the toolbar, click to select the layer where you want to copy the line or spot elevation.
  8. Press Ctrl and [V]. The line or spot elevation is pasted in the same location in the layer with the same properties as the original line or spot elevation.

    You can also copy multiple lines or spot elevations to another layer at the same time by selecting lines and spot elevations click Multi , then pressing Ctrl and [C].
