Bid & Proposal Setup

Enter information that will be used for bids.

Complete the Customer Setup process first.

  1. On the Prospects screen, set up prospects to create bids for. A prospect is assigned to every bid. Customers may be copied to prospects and vice versa.
  2. Create the bid types to be used to classify bids for reporting on the Bid Type screen.
  3. Define the stages used to track progress of bids on the Bid Stage screen.
  4. Define the sources used to generate sales leads on the Lead Source screen.
  5. Review the bid & proposal setup on the View Estimating Setups screen.

Once you complete the bid & proposal setup process, you are ready to use Viewpoint Estimating.
