Users screen

Use this screen to manage user contact information, credentials (logins and passwords), and permissions.

Open the Managing Users screen from the All Tasks pane, click Administration > Security > Users.

Use the User screen to create and maintain users in the application. All users are available throughout the application. They are not tied to a single company.

Application users are stored as contacts. If you have already created a contact on the Contact screen for a new user, you can associate that contact with the user. If you haven't created a contact yet, the application creates one automatically using the information you enter for the user.

If you assign a user to a user group created on the User Groups screen, the user inherits permissions from the user group.

Note: All Estimating permissions are disabled by default. Enable permissions as needed when you create a user.
