How Active Field Management Users are Counted

Active Field Management users have access to at least one Field Management module under Equipment, Field Tools, Crew Timecard, or Purchase Orders, if you license the Purchase Orders module through Field Management, or have been assigned as Training Admins.

Watch how active Field Management users are counted.

Note: The Purchase Orders module can be used through a Financial Controls or a Field Management license. If you license Purchase Orders through Financial Controls, it does not count toward your Field Management licenses.

Find User Counts

If active user counts are higher than the number of licensed users, you can adjust user access to modules. The Portal Settings page (Admin > Portal Settings > Portal Info) shows a current count of active users. Users assigned as Training Admins are included in the Field Management user count.

Review or Adjust User Counts for Field Management Modules

To review or adjust user counts for Field Management modules, select Admin > User Access. Available modules:
  • Equipment: Work Orders, Equip Info, Update Meters, or Transfer.
  • Field Tools: Training / Skills Editor, Daily Huddle, Checklist, Progress Entry, Issues, Daily Reports, or Job Allocation.
  • Crew Timecard: FM Grid Time, FM Mobile, or Field Tickets.
  • Purchase Orders: Create PO, PO Requisition, PO Receiving, Quick PO, Pending PO, or Create MO.
Employees who have a checkbox next to their name for at least one Field Management or Purchase Orders module (if you license the Purchase Orders module through Field Management) will be counted as an active Field Management user. If the active user count is higher than you expect, you can deselect checkboxes for employees who should not have access to a given module.



Manage Training Admin Counts

Users assigned as Training Admins are included in the Field Management user count. Training Admins are assigned on the Admin Roles page (Admin > Admin Roles If the active user count is higher than you expect, you can deselect the Training Admin checkbox for employees who should not have this role.

Audit User Counts

For a full audit of who has access to modules, review the License Count Report. To generate this report, select Export License Report from the Portal Settings page (Admin > Portal Settings > Portal Info).
