Link PR Co and Employee Number to a VA User Profile

Security setup determines the information that users are able to view in the portal. This setup relies on the user's VA User Profile being connected to the payroll company and employee number that they use to log in to the portal.

For example, if a manager can log in but cannot view information for employees that they manage, it is most likely because this manager's VA User Profile is not connected to the payroll company and employee number they use to log in to the portal.
  1. In Vista, open the VA User Profile form (Viewpoint Administration > Programs > VA User Profile).
  2. Review and update the PR Co and Employee fields
    • PR Co: The payroll company that the user belongs to. Press F4 for a list of valid companies.
    • Employee: The employee number to associate with the user. Press F4 for a list of employees.
