What's New in Field Management Mobile 2023 R3

What's New lists the enhancements and changes made in the 23.3 Field Management Mobile release. This release is available as of 3/15/2023. The Field Management mobile app is available to download 24 to 48 hours following the release date.

Field Management Mobile Highlights

This following enhancements and customer suggestions were added in this release.

Removed ability to edit line details for submitted time: On mobile timecards, the following changes occur on the pop-up menu that displays after you select an employee whose time has been submitted:
  • The Edit Line Details menu option is removed, preventing users from modifying an employee's craft, class, or shift for submitted time.

  • The Clock Entry menu option changes to View Clock Entries. Use this option to view submitted clock hours.

    Note: The Cancel button that used to display at the bottom of the pop-up menu has been removed. You can now exit the pop-up menu by tapping anywhere outside of the menu. This returns you to the mobile timecard.

Performance improvements: Sign-off functionality has been rebuilt to improve backend workflows and validation. Note that these changes impact performance only, not the user interface or mobile application setup.

Coming Soon: Field Tickets for Mobile

Field Management Mobile users will soon be able to create field tickets using features and functionality built into the mobile application. The initial release of field tickets for mobile will include a general information tab, which will allow users to enter basic project information, such as project notes, and to attach photos to a field ticket. More features will be added in subsequent releases.
