Activate Devices in idClock

In order to create polling or enrollment groups for a device, you must first activate that device in idClock.

  1. Select the Preferences tab.
  2. Under Active Devices, select the Active check box for the devices employees will use.
    If you are going to use the ZK Software TFT device with fingerprint capabilities, you must install an adapter in order for idClock to communicate with the ZK device.
  3. Select the Terminals tab.
  4. Click the drop-down field in the upper left of the screen to view the devices you have activated.
    If a device is missing from the list, verify that you activated it on the Preferences tab.
