Set Up a New Environment in Enterprise Framework

Use Enterprise Framework to set up new application environments. Environment settings determine how Enterprise Framework and idClock manage and transfer data.

Each environment can have its own unique configurations and its own set of users.
  1. Select the Products tab.
  2. In the Products list, locate the product that you want to set up a new environment for.
  3. In the Environments column, click Configure.
  4. To create a new environment with a blank configuration, click New Environment.
  5. To copy an existing environment's settings, click Copy for the applicable environment.
  6. Enter values for the configuration settings.
  7. To activate an environment, select the Active check box in the Environments grid at the top of the screen.
  8. Click Save at the bottom of the page.
Note: Creating environments requires knowledge of how server-side settings affect the applications. If this is the first time you are creating an environment, consider submitting a case on the Viewpoint Customer Portal to request assistance from Viewpoint's Professional Services team.
