Limit Data that Syncs from Back Office

Typically used by larger companies, Data Filters allow you to limit the back office records that sync with Field Time Console.

Setting up data filters requires knowledge of SQL statements. For help, please submit a case on the Viewpoint Customer Portal to request assistance from Viewpoint's Professional Services team.

To access data filters, click the Administration tab, and select System Management > Data Filters in the left pane.

  • The Data Filter is the WHERE clause in the INSERT INTO statement of SQL.
  • You can also edit data filters in the DataFilter table in the Field Time Console database. If you have multiple environments, you may need to add the data filters to multiple databases.
