Add a Temporary Employee in Manage Resources

Set up temporary employees on the Manage Resources tab or in Resource Setup.

Temporary employees are new crew members who have not been added to your back office accounting system.
  1. Select the Manage Resources tab.
  2. Select an Entry Code Type, Resource Type (Employee), Resource Group, Payroll Group, and Period.
  3. Click Refresh .
  4. To ensure you have the latest information from the back office accounting system, select the Synchronize from Backoffice check box, and click Refresh .
  5. Review the list to verify the employee is not already available in the system.
  6. Click Add Resource at the top of the screen.
  7. In the Add Temporary Resource window, click Refresh .
  8. Click Add .
  9. Enter details for the temporary employee, including the following information:
    • Resource No. (include TMP as a prefix. For example, TMP-1234)
    • Description (Name)
    • Type (Employee)
    • PR Group (Payroll Group)
    • Company
    • Department
  10. The Temporary check box is selected for the employee by default.
  11. Click Save .
After Field Time Console syncs with the back office, you can convert the temporary employee to permanent.
