Edit Global Resource Groups

Edit or activate the global resource groups that are available to all system users.

To create, edit, or delete global resource groups, you must be assigned to a security role with this permission: EditGlobalResourceGroups.
Changes made on the Edit Global Resource Groups tab affect all system users.
  1. Select the Manage Resources tab.
  2. Click Resource Group Setup .
  3. Select the Edit Global Resource Groups tab, and click Add .
  4. Enter a name and description for the employee group or crew.
    The system sets new resource groups as Active by default.
  5. Click Save .
    You must save the global resource group before you can add employees or equipment to it.
  6. Click the [+] to the left of the group line to expand the list of resources.
  7. Select the Include check box for all employees or equipment that you want to add to the group.
  8. Click Save .
Active global resource groups are available from the Resource Group field available across the system and on mobile applications.
