Create Security Roles in Field Time Console

Set specific permissions for users based on their role in your organization. Users must be assigned to a security role in order to access application features that are relevant to their job.

You must have administrator privileges to create and assign security roles. Administrators can create security roles in Field Time Console or Enterprise Framework.
  1. Click the Administration tab.
  2. Select System Management in the left pane.
  3. Choose Security Roles.
  4. To review permissions for an existing role, click the Role Name.
    Permissions display in the lower part of the screen.
  5. To create a new security role, click Add in the toolbar.
  6. Enter a Role Name and Description.
  7. Click Save .
  8. In the list of permissions, select the Assigned box for all rights to grant this security role.
    Tip: Right-click in the grid to select or remove all permissions for a role. Choose Select All or Select None as appropriate.
    You can also right-click in the grid, and choose Select All to assign all permissions to this role.
  9. Click Save .
After you create security roles, you can assign them to users.
