Reactivate a Task Type

You can reactivate task types that were previously deactivated.

Inactive task types remain available in the system and may be reactivated using the Edit Task Type screen.
Fastpath: Business Setup > Standards and Templates > Task Types
  1. In the Current Business Is field, select the highest level business unit within the business.
  2. Select Business Setup > Standards and Templates > Task Types.
  3. In the Search pane, deselect the Active check box.
  4. Enter other search criteria for the task type, such as the task type name, or a portion of the name, in the Name Contains field.
  5. Click Search.
  6. Right-click on the task type to reactivate, and select Edit Task Type.
  7. In the Edit Task Type screen, select the Active check box.
  8. Click Save.
The task type is now available for use.
