Overnight Sync
Overnight sync maintains the timeliness and accuracy of your project data when you’re not working.
When your device syncs overnight, your daily session data and the data of others in your organisation will sync to and from your device when you’re not working. When you start your workday, your updated information will be waiting for you.
The last sync time is listed on the Field View login page and in the sync log.
Prepare your device
Prepare your device for the overnight sync.
- Have a supported version of the Android OS or iOS.
- Keep Field View open, or reopen it at the end of the business day.
- Make sure your phone is charged and not in low-power or battery-saver mode.
- Connect to Wi-Fi as a cellular connection uses more data.
- Sync your device at least once in the past 30 days.
