Regenerate an Enrollment Code for a Device

You can regenerate the enrollment information for a device, including the QR code, if the device has already been added to the project.

The Field View app must be installed on the mobile device. The app can be installed through the app store for iOS and Windows devices. For Android devices, install from Google Play. You will typically regenerate the code for a device when you have cleared the device's enrollment information. However, you can regenerate the code for a device even if current enrollment information exists.
  1. Click on your name in the upper right corner and select Project Setup > Devices.
  2. In the row of the device you want to work with, click and select Regenerate Code.
    The Device Enrolment window appears, showing the device's new enrollment code, expiration date, and QR code.
  3. If you want to print the QR code, click the Print button .
  4. Click the Close button in the upper right corner to close the Device Enrolment window.
  5. From the device, tap the Menu button and then tap Settings.
    The Settings window appears.
  6. Tap the Scan Enrollment QR Code button.
    This step requires a QR code reader on the device.
  7. Use the barcode scanner to scan the enrollment QR code.
    The device automatically starts to sync. Once the sync is finished, the enrollment is complete and you can access the project on the device.
