Disable Multi-Factor Authentication

If you have enabled VFP's multi-factor authentication (MFA) for added, 2-step security to protect from data breaches and hackers, you can disable it.

To disable MFA, ensure that you have a two-step verification app (such as Google Authenticator) on your phone, as you will be required to enter a 6-digit, time-sensitive code from the app in order to disable MFA.
  1. Log in to Viewpoint For Projects™.
The Select an Enterprise window appears.
  2. Under Other Options, click the View or Manage Your Personal Details link.
    The Personal Settings window appears.
  3. Under Options, click the Disable Multi-Factor Authentication link.
The Disable Multi-Factor Authentication window appears.
  4. Use the built-in QR code reader in your phone's authenticating software to generate a time-sensitive, 6-digit code.
  5. Enter the 6-digit code into the Code field of the Disable Multi-Factor Authentication window, and click Submit.
The MFA Disabled notification window appears.
Hereafter, when you log in to VFP, you will no longer be required to enter the code for secure, 2-step verification.
