A virtual address card is a standard method of exchanging data between applications. Exporting a contact to a virtual address card allows you to export contact information to a local email client (for example, Microsoft Outlook).

The user directory displays a list of all users. You can view information such as job
        title, organization name, telephone number, and email at a glance.

The organization directory displays all organizations within the enterprise, site,
        and / or project, depending which level you view at. You can find details such as telephone
        numbers, address details, and the website address at a glance.

The distribution group directory displays all distribution groups within the
        Enterprise, Site, or Project, depending at which level you view. Distribution groups are
        similar to email lists.

        <p class="p">Access <span class="keyword">Automatic Invoicing</span> from <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span> by logging into <a class="xref j-external-link" href="http://team.viewpoint.com" target="_blank">team.viewpoint.com</a>, and then selecting <span class="ph uicontrol">Accounts Payable</span> from the main
            menu.</p>
        <p class="p">Use Automatic Invoicing to enter validated vendor invoices. There are
            three steps in the process:</p>

The Data Entry menu is used to
      record invoices as they are received. Invoices can be tracked optionally through Unapproved
      Invoice Processing, and routed automatically to reviewers for approval. Options are available
      for correcting invoice entry errors. Typically, invoices are entered and updated, then later
      paid. In addition, credit memos, recurring invoices and subcontract progress billings can be
      created and processed. Payments can be made by issuing regular check or by manual or pre-paid
      checks. Issued checks may be voided.

If your company uses Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you can edit a VFP document (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx) in Microsoft Office for the web. You won’t be able to open the document in Microsoft Office if it's an older version of office or if the document has custom mandatory fields with no values.

<body id="concept-8694"><main role="main"><article role="article" aria-labelledby="ariaid-title1"><h1 class="title topictitle1" id="ariaid-title1">Edit a Document Live in VFP</h1><div class="body conbody"><p class="shortdesc">If you use Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, you can edit a VFP document (.docx, .pptx, or .xlsx) live in Microsoft Office for the web, allowing easy collaboration whilst retaining the control and governance of your workflow, permissions and security in VFP.  </p><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Enable Microsoft Office for the Web</h2><p class="p">When you first open a Microsoft Office document in VFP, <span class="ph">a user agreement message appears. Review the agreement and accept to proceed. If you decline the agreement, you cannot use the feature and the message will reappear if you try to use this feature again.</span></p><p class="p">When the user agreement has been accepted, the option to open a Microsoft document will be available from the drop down menu.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Co-Authoring and Versions</h2><p class="p"><span class="ph">When you edit a document in Microsoft Office for the web, changes are saved automatically, and a new document revision is created once you close the editing session. More than one user can access the same document at the same time and make edits.</span> When each user closes the editing session, a new item revision will be added. <span class="ph">An audit is logged in the item's Activity Log for each user that opens the item. When each user closes the editing session after making a save, a new item revision will be added. </span></p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">File Types</h2><p class="p">If you upload an older file type to VFP (for example, .doc, .ppt, .xls), you  will not be able to edit them in Microsoft Office for the web. You won't see the option from the drop-down menu.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Permissions</h2><p class="p">Permissions for Microsoft Office for the web are no different than the existing permissions for the current Live Revise process.</p></section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Session Length</h2>
            
            <p class="p">The session length for Microsoft Office for the web is 60 minutes. After 50 minutes of inaction, you will receive a warning stating when your session will expire. Clicking <span class="ph uicontrol">Save and refresh</span> in the warning window will restart another 50 minutes. After 60 minutes of inaction, you will receive a warning that your session has ended. You will need to close the tab and restart the session.</p>

                initial email invitation to join <span class="keyword">Trimble Construction One</span>.
                After the System Administrator changes the user's email address in the <span class="keyword">Spectrum</span> Operator Maintenance screen,
                your Enterprise Admin can re-migrate the user's account. Previously, resolving this
                issue required assistance from Support. </p>

            <p class="p">You can now automatically create vendor invoices when updating payroll for things like garnishment payments. This greatly streamlines the process of preparing checks at the end of the payroll cycle. </p>
            <p class="p">You can also view the vendor invoices created from payroll activity. This view includes the company, vendor, invoice number, employee name, as well as check, deduction, and fringe information - and you can export all of it.</p>

            <p class="p">If you notice an error in the debit or credit amount fields after you’ve posted your journal entry, you can now reverse the posting without having to re-enter any of the data.</p>
            <p class="p">The new Create Reverse Journal Entry screen shows you the information you entered and displays the changes that the reversal is about to make to the debit and credit amounts.             <p class="p">Using the new Change Invoice Number screen, you can now change the number of a posted invoice without voiding and reentering the entire invoice.</p>
            <p class="p"><span class="keyword">ProContractor</span> still validates your newly entered invoice number to prevent entering a duplicate invoice number.</p>

            <p class="p">To help avoid creating duplicate vendor records, the Create Vendor screen now automatically searches all vendor records as you type in the <span class="ph uicontrol">Vendor</span> field. You can use it to perform quick searches to confirm whether the vendor you're about to create already exists.</p>
        </section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">Easier-to-find Certified Payroll Information</h2>
            
            <p class="p">With this release, even more certified payroll information is viewable in the View Project Setup screen. A new <span class="ph uicontrol">Certified Payroll</span> checkbox and a new <span class="ph uicontrol">Certified Payroll Start Date</span> field now appear in the Payroll tab, alongside the certificate and policy number fields.</p>
        </section><section class="section"><h2 class="title sectiontitle">New Blank Line in Timecard Entry</h2>
            
            <p class="p">In addition to the current ability to add a duplicate line when entering timecards, you now have the option to add a blank line.</p>
            <p class="p">You can now fill in the details relevant to the project, without first having to clear pre-filled values from a duplicated line.</p>
