Search Markup Text

Search for specific text in an item or in a markup using the Search field and search parameters.

We recommend that you read the guidelines in the Search Capabilities in the Brava Viewer topic before performing a search.
  1. Navigate to the document you want to search, right-click on the mouse icon , and select View and Markup.
If you are using the HTML5 version of the Brava Viewer, search capabilities may not be available for all document types.
  2. Enter your search criteria into the Search field or select a previous search term from the field's drop-down menu.
  3. Optional: Select search parameters from the drop-down menu to the right of the Search Text icon.
  4. Press Enter, or click to the right of the Search field.
If you are using the ActiveX version of the Brava Viewer, the first instance of the text is highlighted in the item. If you are using the HTML5 version, a separate Search Results window appears, displaying the number of search results found and listing the results in a table. Click Close to return to the Viewer, where the first instance of the text is highlighted in the document.
  5. Press Enter to navigate to the next instance of the text in the document searched.
