When you export COBie data in Viewpoint For Projects™ 2017-3, the data is now exported to an Excel 2007 file with a .xlsx extension.

As a result, you are no longer constrained by the 65,536 record and 256 column limits that are associated with Excel 2003 files. In an Excel 2007 file, the record limit is 1,048,576, while the column limit is 16,384.

To export COBie data, click the Export icon in the COBie tab's toolbar.
