Direct Deposit Fields

The following table provides descriptions for the fields shown on the Personal Info > Direct Deposit tab in Employee Self-Service.

Access the Personal Info page by selecting the Personal icon from the Employee Self-Service home page. Or, you can select the main menu in the upper left corner of the home page, and then select Personal Info. Then select the Direct Deposit tab.

The Direct Deposit tab shows details for each bank account that you currently have on file for your direct deposit of earnings. For details on how to edit direct deposit account details, see Update My Direct Deposit Information in Help.

Direct Deposit
Allocation Method The allocation method being used for direct deposit of earnings: Percentage or Fixed Amount.

If Percentage, a specific percent of the employee's check is being deposited into each account listed on the Direct Deposit tab (specified percentages are shown in the Amount field for an account).

If Fixed Amount, a set dollar amount is being deposited into the accounts listed on the Direct Deposit tab in order of priority (one through five; one being the first priority and five being the last). You can rearrange the priority in which the fixed dollar amounts are deposited as needed.

Total Deposit Amount The total amount of earnings that is deposited per check. If the percentage allocation method is being used, this field will show 100%.
Account Details
Priority For fixed direct deposit amounts, the priority indicates the order in priority (one through five; one being the first priority and five being the last) in which the set dollar amount will be deposited into the account. If all priorities are fulfilled, any money remaining will be deposited into the first account specified.
Bank Name The name of the financial institution where the account is held.
Type of Account The direct deposit account type: Checking or Savings.
Account Number The employee's bank account number for this account.
Note: For security purposes, your account number displays as hidden on the page. To view this number, select the icon next to the account number.
Routing Number The bank's routing number for deposit purposes.
Note: For security purposes, your bank's routing number displays as hidden on the page. To view this number, select the icon next to the bank routing number.
Amount The amount (or percent) being deposited into the given account.
Status Indicates whether this is an active or inactive direct deposit account.
Check Image Allows employees to upload an image of a voided check so that their bank account information may be validated. You can drag and drop a file or select to browse for an image on your device. If a check image has been uploaded, that image displays. This field may be required. Supported file types for upload: .png, .jpg, and .jpeg files that are no larger than 2 MB.
Note: For security purposes, your image displays as hidden on the page. To view the image, select the icon next to the image file name.
