Failed to Initialize Reasons

Resolve issues when new hire records fail to initialize to Spectrum.

If a new hire record fails to initialize to Spectrum, a Failed Reason displays on the New Hire Details page (Info & Status section).

After correcting issues, an HR specialist should follow the standard procedure to initialize the new hire's record to Spectrum.

Common reasons initializing might fail are listed below.

Duplicate Social Security Number Validate the Social Security Number entered in Personal Info.
Duplicate Employee Number (applies to manually-entered employee IDs only) Review the Employee Number entered in Spectrum Details. Assure that a unique number was used.
