What's New in HR Management for Spectrum 2023 R8

The 2023 R8 release of HR Management for Spectrum introduces notifications for personal information changes, and a new Employment Status filter on the Employee Management page. This release is available as of 8/16/2023.

Notification Management

New! Set Notification Preferences

All users can now manage their notification preferences for personal information changes. HR users can also manage notification preferences for personal information approvals. From any HR Management page, select your name in the upper right, and then select the new Notification Preferences option. All users are required to set notification preferences by default. At least one notification preference (email address or phone number) is required.

New Admin Setting: Allow Employees to Opt Out of Notifications

To allow employees to mute personal information notifications, enable the new admin setting: Allow Employees to opt out of ALL digital notifications. This setting is located under the new Admin Settings > Notification Settings section. If you enable this setting, employees have the option to mute notifications using a checkbox on their Notification Preferences > Personal tab. See Configure Notification Settings for more details.

Employee Management

New! Employment Status filter

The Employee Management page now includes an Employment Status filter, allowing you to filter grid results by the following employment statuses: Active, Deceased, Inactive, and Terminated. Previously, only active employees were listed in the Employee Management grid.
