Approval Permissions Fields

The following table provides descriptions for the fields shown on the Approval Permissions page.

For help assigning approval permissions, see Assign Approval Permissions. For help setting up employee groups, see Create Employee Groups.
Field Description
Manage Groups button Opens the Manage Employee Groups page where you can review, add, or edit employee groups. See Create Employee Groups for details.
Export Approval Permissions button Generates a report of all approval permissions currently assigned, the groups or individuals that those permissions apply to, and the permission type.
Note: The rows on this report display as collapsed by default. Select the plus sign (+) to the left of a row to expand that row and view group membership details for each approval permission.
Add button After you complete Give Permission To, Permission Type, and For this Group fields, select Add to add the new permission assignment to the grid.
Give Permission To The employee group that should have the permission that you are assigning.
Permission Type The permission being granted to the employee group shown in the Give Permission To field. See Approval Permission Types for descriptions of each permission.
For This Group The employee group subject to the permission being assigned.
View button Allows you to view and search the list of employees for the selected employee group.
Edit button Opens the Manage Employee Groups page where you can review or modify the selected group.
