Request a Qualifying Event

If you are not in an open enrollment period and you need to change your benefits, you must request a qualifying event.

These requests are submitted to your Benefits Admin for review and approval.
  1. Select Employee Tools > Benefits.
  2. Select the Qualifying Event from the dropdown.
    The available qualifying events are determined by your Benefits Admin.
  3. Enter the date of your new elections in the Effective Date field.
    Note: If an effective date is required, this field displays with a red asterisk.
  4. If you want to include a message to your Benefits Admin, enter it in the Notes section.
  5. To add documentation to your request, attach the file in the Drop a file or Click to upload field.
  6. When you are finished, select Request.
When your request is approved, you will receive an email with your window dates (the time frame in which you must make your benefit elections) and a link to begin enrollment.
