Create a Revision for a Submittal

You can create a revision of a submittal to modify the details of the submittal and restart the submittal process by going to Projects > Submittals > Other Actions > Reject and Create Revision.

You can create a revision for a submittal that has been submitted.
  1. From the home page, under Projects, select the name of the project you want to open.
    Alternatively, go to the main menu in the upper left-hand corner, select Projects, and then select the name of the project you want to open.
    The Dashboard for the project appears.
  2. Click the Submittals tab.
  3. Click on the submittal number for the submittal you want to work with.
    Note: The submittal number appears in blue text and becomes underlined when you mouse over it.
    The Submittal page appears.
  4. Click the Other Actions button and select Reject and Create Revision.
    To view a previous revision, click on the revision number in the header and select the version you want to see.
    The Reject and Create Revision dialog appears.
  5. In the Response field, select the status for the new revision or begin typing to add a new status code.
    Optionally, you can use the CC field to copy a contact, enter a message in the Comment field, or add an attachment by clicking Add attachment.
  6. Click Commit.
A new revision of the submittal is created and the previous version is set to closed. You can modify the details of the submittal and send it.
