Send Welcome Email

Send welcome emails to individual employees, all current employees who have not yet logged in to the portal, or automatically to new and rehired employees.

  1. To send a welcome email to an individual employee:
    1. Select Admin > User Access, and locate the name of the employee who should receive the email.
    2. Select the Gear icon next to the employee's name, and select Send Welcome Email.


  2. To send a welcome email to all current employees who have access to the portal but have never logged in:
    1. Select Admin > User Access.
    2. Select the More button in the upper right, and choose Send Bulk Welcome Email.


  3. To send welcome emails to new or rehired employees automatically if they are:
    • New employees who have access to the portal, have never logged in, and have not previously received the welcome email.

    • Rehired employees who are within four days (96 hours) of their rehire date, have access to the portal, and have not previously received the welcome email.

    Enable the portal setting Welcome Email: enable automatic emails to new and rehired employees located under Admin > Portal Settings > Email Configuration > Email Options.
