Why are Emails Blank in Strict Enrollment Mode

Ensure that the correct URL is entered in the Portal URL setting and that it includes the trailing forward slash (/).

If the Portal user enrollment mode has been set to Strict (Admin > Portal Settings > Administration / Initial Setup > General Configuration), users must confirm emails that are sent to their employee email address before they can create a password and log in. If emails sent from the portal contain links to the portal, those emails will not work properly if the Portal URL (include trailing '/') setting is incorrect.

To update the Portal URL.

  1. SelectAdmin > Portal Settings > Administration / Initial Setup).
  2. Review the setting called Portal URL (include trailing '/').
    Note: The Portal URL must include a forward slash (/) at the end. For example, https://myemployeeportal.com/.
