Change the Status of Phases on a Job

You can quickly change the status of all or selected phases on a job at one time using the JC Job Phase Status Change form.

Costs, estimates, and commitments can only be posted to active phases (those with the Active Phase check box selected in JC Job Phases, Info tab.
  1. From the JC Job Phases form, selectFile > Phase Status Change.
  2. The JC Job Phase Status Change form will display.
  3. Select an option in the Change By field. If you select Phase Range, the Phase Range field will be enabled to select the range of phases that will be changed.
  4. Make a selection in the Status Change field. Check the Active box if the selected phases should be active. This means that costs, estimates, and commitments can be posted to the phase.
    Note: Changing a phase’s status does not automatically change the status of the cost types assigned to the phase, but costs, estimates, and commitments can only be posted to active phases.
  5. Click the Update button when complete.
The system updates the status for all selected phases.
